How Sheltie Connect actually started
My oldest sheltie ‘Gift’ was my biggest inspiration to start Sheltie Connect.
My vision for Sheltie Connect is to connect sheltie lovers from all over the world because we all share the same passion.
Sheltie Connect 2024
Sheltie Connect started in 2024 with nothing more than an idea and a dream. When I shared my vision with my boyfriend his answer was simple: “Go for it!” And so I did.
To make sure every sheltie lover, no matter where they live, can enjoy our products, we work with print on demand. This means every item is made to order, which not only allows us to ship worldwide but also means there is no overproduction and no waste, something I truly care about.
On top of that, I personally handpick and ship a selection of products myself, like shampoos and brushes, because some things deserve that little bit of extra personal attention.

Meet the founder
Shiela Krapf
Hi, I’m Shiela, born and raised in the Netherlands, but you’ll often find me in Canada, where my boyfriend lives with his shelties.
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of having a dog. We had two cats growing up, who were truly my best friends, but the dream of a dog never left me. In 2016, that dream came true when Gift came into my life.
From that moment on, I threw myself fully into the world of dogs. I founded my own holistic dog salon Sheltiespiegel, and I wrote a book about Gift that is coming soon in English.
Animals are everything to me. I will always stand up for them; every animal needs to be heard, seen, and loved. That is not just my mission with Sheltie Connect. It is who I am.
